The Boole 1.1 is the first in this series of bicycle rim light sculptures, which uses salvaged bicycle rims from the non-profit, The Bike Kitchen. “The core mission of the Bike Kitchen is to teach people of all ages and backgrounds how to repair bicycles.”

 

The Boole 1.X use black elastic in an interlaced pattern. Subsequent pieces in the Boole series will explore more complex patterns through volume and color.
